Reduced,Re-used,Recycled Fashion workshop with Youth for Youth

On Saturday I ran a fashion and textiles workshop for Creative Youth Network as part of their preparation for a 'reduced, reused, recycled' fashion show they are creating as part of the grand opening of 'The Station'. The Station is Creative Youth Network's new exciting creative centre for young people, which will officially open with a bang this October the 19th to the 21st.
The girls who attended the workshop has a great time cutting up and re-styling old clothes with the new techniques they learnt. Techniques which included applique, fabric flower making and embroidery/ sequin work amongst many more. They came up with some great outfits which they felt reflected 'who they were in Bristol' as this was a starting point we began with to help them think of ideas for the outfit they would like to make.
